Gregory Huger, Managing Partner, led a major oil company’s five year transformation to strategically proactive corporate citizenship to ensure global reputation and business continuity. His team, now Ayrlie Partners, enabled that company to maintain its presence in challenging socio-political environments where it must work to develop oil and gas resources. He spent one year with a major multinational company in Iraq managing the relationship between the company and Iraqi communities and subcontractors. Mr. Huger was a Minister Counselor in the US Foreign Service serving with USAID and the Peace Corps for 23 years mostly in field positions in the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, Central and South America and Africa. He also held regional management positions with an international agriculture equipment company in South America and Europe for seven years. Lea Swanson, Partner, has worked in environment and international development for the past sixteen years. She has brokered ground-breaking partnerships and directed the design, development and implementation of community-based programs in developing and transition economies for Fortune 100 companies, recipient and donor countries, local citizenry, non-government organizations, and international aid agencies. She spent five years based in the Former Soviet Union with USAID and two years in Europe directing development and environment programs throughout the region including: Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine and Russia Far East. She also has directed community programs in Africa, Asia / Pacific region, and Latin America to achieve agreed corporate and community objectives. Prior to this, Ms. Swanson held management positions in strategic planning at a major Australian university. Ms. Swanson holds an MBA (Monash, Australia) and an MPA (Harvard) and serves as Adjunct Professor at Vermont Law School’s Environmental Law Center where she teaches, since 1994, Strategic Planning for Sustainable Development.
